The SEU MBA runs twelve courses over four semesters, entirely in English, and it is harder to fit around a full-time job than most students expect.
This page covers the whole programme. Every course and code, the real admission requirements including the GPA rule most sites get wrong, how the semesters are structured, and where students most often need support.
If you want a tutor for one course or for the whole degree, we do that too.

Two codes to watch. The economics course is ECN500, not ECON500. The accounting course is ACT500, not ACC500. ECON101 and ECON201 exist at SEU but they are undergraduate courses, not part of the MBA. Getting these right on your own page is a small credibility signal that students notice.

SEU MBA Admission Requirements
These come from the official SEU programme page. Check them against your application portal before you apply, since requirements change between intakes.
Minimum GPA
Your cumulative bachelor’s GPA should be no less than 2.00 out of 4.00, or 3.00 out of 5.00.
If you are below that, you may still have a route. The College Council can waive the requirement down to 1.5 out of 4.00, or 2.5 out of 5.00, depending on available seats. Apply rather than assuming you are out.
This paragraph alone will earn the page traffic. “SEU MBA GPA requirement” is a real search and most pages either state the wrong figure or omit the waiver entirely.
English proficiency
The programme is taught only in English, so you submit one approved test.
| Test | Minimum score | Valid for |
| IELTS Academic | 5.0 | 3 years |
| STEP | 76 | 3 years |
| TOEFL iBT | 45 | 2 years |
IELTS Academic only. The General Training version is not accepted.
When you do not need an English test
- You graduated from SEU with a GPA of 3.5 or above from an English-taught programme
- You graduated from an institution in the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia or New Zealand
Other requirements
- A bachelor’s degree from an institution recognised by the Ministry of Education
- Saudi national, or a non-Saudi residing in the Kingdom with a valid Iqama
- GMAT and GRE are not required. You may attach them as supporting evidence if you have them
- Full payment of first-semester tuition to confirm your place
Where SEU MBA Students Need Help, Semester by Semester
Twelve courses do not distribute their difficulty evenly. This is the pattern we see.
Semester 1: the writing shock
RES500 is where students discover that postgraduate academic writing and APA 7 referencing are skills in their own right. Marks drop here for people who have been out of study for a decade, and it is rarely about intelligence.
ECN500 and FIN500 add quantitative work on top. Three demanding courses in your first term, while you are still learning Blackboard.
Semester 2: the workload peak
MGT560, MGT520 and MGT510 are all applied management courses with heavy discussion and critical thinking components. Weekly assignments stack up quickly, and this is the semester most students first fall behind.
Semester 3: the technical wall
ACT500 Managerial Accounting is the course non-finance graduates find hardest. Cost behaviour, variance analysis and budgeting arrive fast, and MGT530 Operations Management brings its own quantitative load.
Semester 4: the capstone
MGT675 runs alongside two other courses, and it decides more of your final standing than anything else. Students who leave the topic and proposal late lose the term.
